It wasn't bad actually. I lived there my whole life and did not have that many problems with crime. I've had my car broken into once but that was about it. The people aren't very friendly either.
On the plus side, the schools aren't that bad. Well a lot of them are but there are a few good ones. The weather is awesome as it's usually sunny all year round. If you like the outdoors there are plenty of things to do.
The Balloon Fiesta is overrated. Don't waste your time there.
