Review of Annapolis, Maryland

Housing Cost in Annapolis
Star Rating - 2/10/2008
We have lived in the same house since 1981 and have seen its value increase fivefold. Our neighborhood (Hillsmere) is delightful, with a beach and a marina. Next door is Quiet Waters Park, one of the largest green spaces in the county. The problem is that we would pay more to downsize than we now owe. Also, our grown children cannot afford to buy a house in the area, even with good jobs.
