I have lived in Arizona for about 7 years now. I have lived in CA, IA, MN, PA and AZ. Of all the places, Arizona is my favorite. California was beautiful, especially where I lived (Newport Beach), but the cost of living is out of control and there are simply too many people there. There is plenty to do in Phoenix and the availability of other recreational activities in the state is tremendous. There are so many beautiful places in the state to visit. The summers are hot, but I think you get used to them. Plus, you can get to the highlands, just an hour or two North of here to cool off. And I will definitely trade freezing cold winters for the hot summers here.
