Living, working, and playing in Phoenix Metro area can be a lot of fun and quite rewarding at times. As long as those times are Winter and Spring. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty to do outdoors here, just don't expect to do it all in your backyard. The heat can be so stiffling that you're forced to travel long distances in order to enjoy life outside. Good thing Arizona has 4 of the 6 climate zones...so, you can have all the outdoor fun you want without leaving AZ, no matter what you like to do.
