The new world

For economic opportunity, I moved to Phoenix in 1984 from Michigan. Most of the Michigan economy was subject to the ups and downs of the Auto Industry, and seems to be even more so today. AZ is a "right to work" state and I was attracted to that.
I see Phoenix as one of the new ecomonic regions of our great country. Most of the people and many of the growing businesses here are relatively new and very diversified. When one sector of the AZ economy has a cyclical downturn, like home construction for example, this deversity shows itslef with growth in another area, such as aerospace or Bio technology.
300 + days of sunshine is a nice bonus also.
