Carson City is a hidden treasure

Carson City is a small capital city in Northern Nevada just east of Lake Tahoe. It is a gorgeous high desert mountain town that is the perfect size for quick access to everything that you need, including work, schools, shopping, restaurants, medical care, and outdoor recreation. It has a nationally recognized historic district, a regional medical center, an observatory, the State Capital Complex, river rafting, and an abundance of unique places to discover. It's not a place to drive through, but a place to spend some time in and explore.
