Thinking of moving

I'm thinking about moving to Cary from the PHX Az can anyone tell me what they think? Neighbors, crime anything at all. Any AZ transplants? or NY transplants? Can someone also tell me how far the colleges are from Cary. I'll have 3 college aged kids.
