Houston is an absolutely fantastic city to live in. I moved to Houston in the 90's from Lexington, Kentucky. I was instantly amazed by the amount of opportunity here. The great thing about this city is I have noticed little or no effect from the economy. the unemployment rate in Houston ins lower than the national average. There are many careers here from oil, health, and construction. To anybody that is out of a job and ready to make a move I would definetly suggest Houston!
