Review of Houston, Texas

Houston
Star Rating - 7/9/2006
I have lived in many differnt parts of the states, here is my take. If you are thinking about moving to Houston, determine what you value. Some pros: good job market, low cost of living, nice winters, great restaraunts, sports town, a lot to do. Some cons: June-Oct HOT and HUMID, air quality is terrible, city growing too fast city cannot keep up with general services, crime is increasing, public transportation is a joke, limited parks, 2 that I consider parks that service 4 million people. Houston is a great place for a young person to start a career and get established, but to raise a family, there are better places.
