It's interesting, really to see that "Raymond" has posted most of the derrogatory comments about Houston on this message board...
Memo to Raymond: LEAVE already! Maybe you can try Port Arthur instead!
I lived in Louisville, KY for 3-1/2 years and couldn't wait to return to civilization! The Houston area (other than HISD) boasts some of the best schools and reasonable cost of living in the entire country. The overall climate is really very good with exception of July and August which admittingly are extremely hot! Winters are very mild with the occasional damp, cold days. Four professional sports teams (Texans, Astros, Rockets and Dynamos)is a plus! The diversity is very compelling as well. Houston, in my opinion is a first class city! Can't be too bad as almost 5 million people call Metro Houston home! Hmmm?
