Houston is a decent place with plenty of entertainment, shopping, and access to recereational activity. Schools are generally good. My complaint against Houston is the apparent lack of urban planning (i.e. sprawl), lack of good public transport such as rail, and very hot and humid weather much of the year. Everyhting one wants to do requires a great deal of driving and waiting in traffic.
