I have lived in Houston for 11 years, but my husband and I have decided to move, primarily because of the climate. The temperatures reach 90 degrees at least 3 months out of the year, with 100 degree temperatures being not unusual. Additionally, the humidity is usually at least 80%, with no wind, and your sweat makes your clothes and hair stick to your body. Air conditioning is essential about 8 months a year. Beware!
