Besides San Juan, Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida, Houston may be the most humid place I've ever been. The weather is relatively warm year around, which would be great if the relative humidity were not constantly pushing 90-100%. The city is nice, and there are plenty of things to do, but if you are planning on doing outdoor activities, especially in the summer (which feels like it lasts from May-October) be prepared to suffocate under the blanket of warm moist air.
