Review of Houston, Texas

Houston or Dallas?

I am looking at relocating to Texas later this year and my options are Houston or Dallas? I have been to both cities briefly but I am unfamilar with them as a whole. Which may be be better based on crime, economy, cleanliness, singles/nightlife, and other quality of life factors. Thanks for any insight.
