Mass transit is almost nonexistent. Many of the most popular and populous suburbs are unincorporated and thus must rely on undersized county sheriff and constable departments for traffic control. It is extremely rare to see a patrol car on the roads. People drive as they choose, often quite aggressively, and fear little interference from the law. Driving at night, even on well-traveled roads, you risk being injured or killed in illegal street racing, drunk driving, car-surfing, car-jacking and other escapades.Younger driver have no patience for older drivers, pedestrians, bike riders or anyone else in their way. Elderly drivers who lose their ability to drive can become virtually imprisoned in their own homes. Repeat DUI (DWI) offenders seem to have little trouble driving with suspended licenses and probation requirements. Big pickup trucks SUVs and Hummers (Dummers, as I call them) have little respect for passenger cars and even actively try to squeeze them out of lanes, even the expense of an accident.
YOU REALLY DON'T WANT YOUR KIDS DRIVING HERE !
