Review of Houston, Texas

Nurses inquiry response
Star Rating - 5/2/2006
In regards to the last posting, I am not a nurse but know Houston extremely well since I was in advertising for years there. My 2 cents worth: if I were a nurse, Houston is one of the better places to be with all the hospitals of high calibre standing there. There are so many nationalities there and no zoning, so everybody lives together. There is no segregation there as in Chicago. There used to be a Jamaican restaurant or two there, and probably still is. Do a computer search with Citysearch or other site. It is cheap to live there, very cheap compared to almost anyplace else you could move to--that has wonderful medical staffing, that is. You are a nurse, so either Mayo's at Rochester, MN. or other high quality area should be your target. Hope this helps.
