Great City too live in. The cost of living is cheaper than most of the state. The education here is really great. Plus to mention health care here is too notch unlike any other in the world. There is so much entertainment for adults and children. This is a city that is very large but very friendly. You will love it here!

I am guessing it depends where you are moving from to give that kind of review about Houston. I've lived and worked in Houston over 35 years and usually to get zoned to a great school means paying more for housing .. a lot more. You are correct about cheaper depending where you live. I am glad you are so positive and Enjoy Houston.
