Houston is a good city. Spring and Early Fall are quite nice. Summers can be hot and humid. Lots of construction going on to upgrade the highways at the moment, but the DOT does a pretty good job on keeping the traffic flowing. There is a light rail system that metro is interested in growing, but for the size of the city - it really ought to have something more in place.
