cliquey, undfriendly women in San Antonio

Do not move here if you don't have to. As a women, it has been very hard to make friends here. The women are very attached to their husbands and children and not open to meeting new people or going out with just "the girls." There is a very high hispanic population and maybe in that culture they are taught to stay close to their husbands and kids? I mean, I really don't know? Does anyone know if this is true? I like being friends with any ethicity, race, or creed!! unfortunatley I have to stay here because my husband transfered here:( I have never experienced such cliquey rude women before. And I have lived in several other cities. Am I the only one?
