Very affordable, pleasant quality of life. Dull. Cultural scene now on the decline. Infrastructure continues to be a problem. City-county rift and pronounced lack of political and civic cooperation. Inner city continues to decline from a very low starting point to begin with. Dependency on one sports team (the baseball Cardinals). Pretty good ethnic food if that's what you're really interested in. Air service now in very serious decline.
