In the past 5 to 7 years the city has changed greatly. There is a lot more ethnic variety within the the city's southside and downtown areas. Unfortunately this has caused a state of economic cleansing amoung the Black population who can no longer afford to occupy and shop in the new developments being geared toward the more affuent groups of people.
