No Jobs in St Louis

I moved to St Louis because my husband transferred. I have a competitive resume with an international background. I have been looking for a job for 5 months, dedicating 1-2 hrs per day, I have posted my resume to about 60 companies, and attended 4 job fairs. There are 4 recruiting agencies "helping" me with ZERO results! not even one single interview.
There are no jobs in St Louis. The city is beautiful, people is nice, weather is not as bad as farther north, but if you are not a nurse or a doctor you will not find a job!
Not only that, your email will get a lot of spam because of so many people trying to take advantage, they invite you to explain a "job opportunity" and when you show up they ask you to pay to start! nice eh??.. It is such a horrible job market and people takes advantage of those trying to find a decent opportunity!
It is sad to say that when my husband moved we were still dating, we did not dedicate enough time to read about the job market, he had a job and we tought it would not be hard for me to get one. A lot of people we know had a nice opinion of the city, however they did not have experience trying to find a job.
My husband and I have started looking outside of St Louis with better results in one week than I have had in 5 months.
If you plan to move to St Louis and do not have a job think it twice.
I´m moving out of here, too sad I would really enjoy living here if I had a job.
Good luck St Louis!
