Review of St. Louis, Missouri

A Returning Native
Star Rating - 7/14/2009
I returned to St. Louis (where I grew up) in 2002, after living in Los Angeles for twenty years. I'm delighted to see the City's resurgence--the renovation of its historic neighborhoods, the enhancement of its public spaces, and the sustained excellence of its arts and entertainment communities. What it lacks in depth and breadth of cultural facilities is made up in the accessibility and quality of what's here.

I still live in both LA and St. Louis, and both are wonderful in their own way. I suspect that as I age, St. Louis's more "bite-size" world will have the greater draw.
