I lived in San Diego for three years. It was the best three years of my life. The beaches are gorgeous, the weather is perfect, the people are stunning, scenery is beautiful. People who give this city a bad review because of the superficial or pretty people are probably simply self conscious about their looks or personality. Everyone there is friendly and "chill". The nightlife there is beyond a doubt the best I've experienced. I'd say even better than Vegas. I'm on a goal to move back there within the next two years. Can't wait.

Oh yeah, San Diego is world renowned for its nightlife. Last call 1:30 AM in the three square block gaslamp District. Military guys stumbling back to Pendleton after a Kegger. Definitely better than Las Vegas. After all, Vegas is a 24 hour town. Much better to shut things down at 1:30... 4972 restaurants/bars including strip and downtown Fremont Street. That includes the 196 shows and cabarets and 86 gentlemen's clubs etc. and etc.… But who's counting.

Best nightlife anywhere?...I think you need to get out of Tracy a little more. Perfect weather?...10 day forecast shows highs between 58-62 next 10 days with rain and lows from the low to mid 40’s. Chill people?...I guess if you are a 7th year junior at SDSU or still bartending at age 40 sense of urgency is not one of your strong suits.
