Review of Aurora, Colorado

Large suburb with big city problems
Star Rating - 1/10/2007
In the 20 years I've lived here, I've seen Aurora grow from a nice, somewhat quiet, town to live and raise kids, into a city of almost 300,000 people, with all the associated crime, congestion and urban sprawl that I thought I left behind in the large midwest city where I lived two decades ago. As I approach my retirement years, I am looking for a town without all the problems of a large city, with possibly less severe winters, as this winter has been expecially cold and snowy.
