Yes, I agree that SA is growing--no surprise there. It was inevitable. So "Republican", those individuals that are moving to get away from the wildfires should try to survive somewhere, anywhere, but not SA? You grew up poor, but lack empathy for others trying to survive? Now that you are no longer poor you don't care? Interesting.... You appear to be angry about a variety of things. Living on the outskirts of SA as an outsider and complaining about how SA is changing and becoming Democratic solves nothing. I'd encourage you to embrace the change. It's already here.

This is the truth. I grew up in SA too so I know what he is talking about. Only trashy people disagree with this person.

Maybe the real reason you don't like San Antonio anymore is because you are Republican and San Antonio now is more Democratic. I lived in San Antonio for five years and have lived before in Kermit, Texas, Odessa, Texas, Pecos, Texas, Granbury, Texas, San Jose, California, and Phoenix, Arizona and I can tell you Northwest San Antonio is the best place to live just north of the Dominion. Even Central San Antonio, the Lavaca Neighborhood is an excellent place to live and especially retire.

San Antonio is beautiful, affordable and full of life. The Riverwalk, the Missions, the food (BBQ & breakfast tacos!!!), the sounds and the people. Six Flags Fiesta Texas and a Seaworld. Military bases for anyone that has a Veteran disability is awesome (at least 10%). Proximity to Austin, Texas and many beautiful towns in between.

I moved From Houston of 20 years to San Antonio, love it! SA has less crime for a majority city and is much cleaner. I moved to castle hills which is it’s own city inside of SA. Love the open spacious mid century homes with huge lots!
