I have lived in Nashville for 14 years and this review is 99% correct. The part I disagree with are the nice people. The people are very fake, sure they are nice and smile but if you need a minor favor they make excuses on why they cannot help you. My new job requires me to travel the country and in other cities I meet people who volunteer to help you, whereas in Nashville you have to beg for it. For example, in Nashville if you ask how to get back to the interstate, you will receive a blank stare and a "what????" reply. In any other city besides Chicago, Atlanta, or New York, they will say "oh sure no problem! In fact just follow me in my car and I'll take you there!". Plus I am a guy and in other cities women actually flirt and hit on me, whereas in Nashville you get a quick glance and get ignored and it is hard to tell if they are shy or not interested.
