10/14/2012parentMy children have attended this school since Kindergarten and I couldn't be more pleased. They are now in 4th grade and 2nd grade. Both of my children are receiving a top notch education in a caring environment. It's almost as if they were attending a private school. I only wish Christina M. Eve Elementary would go up to the 8th grade.
8/21/2012parentI do not approve of this school's way of how we parents are not allowed to pick up our kids in their classes... We are new to all of this, having to pick up and drop off your kid in the side of the school.. Because your not allow to go in school...Yes they seem to be a "A" school but they sure are not organized... Teacher wise I cannot speak because this is her first year here at this school but anyhow on the first day which was yesterday, i dislike how the teacher had told me that she was concerned of my daughter.. I don't know what they expect the first day of school.. I only hope that this gets better
9/2/2010parentI agree with most of all the reviews stating that CME is EXCELLENT. The foundation your child receives here is top notch, however I also agree with the negative review concerning the administration. I beleive the disciplinary action is based on favoritism. My oldest daughter who is now a senior, had to stick up may times for her rights. She is an honor student that excells in cross country, something that was cultivated at CME. My youngest daughter is currently in second grade and has not faced the favoritism yet, but has faced administration sarcasm and inpatient tolerance. The front office needs a class on how to treat elemenatary kids with respect. They are young and impressionable. The teachers ,which are the most important...Are expert with the utmost patience and compassion to our children. This is why the school has rated A+ since it has opened.
7/25/2010parentI do not approve of this school's way of taking disciplinary actions against children! I had my daughter in this school since she was in 2nd grade and by her 5th grade year she was bullied by the ADMINISTRATION! My daughter was accused of beating up smaller children and was threatened to apologize for something she did not even do. I do not recommend anyone send their child to this school until their staff changes. My daughter is now going to be senior in high school and still is traumatized by what happened to her here. I'm not sure if the principal and/or assistant principal has changed, but if it hasn't...I strongly advise you to place your child in Dr. Gilbert L. Porter.
5/20/2010parentI love this school, because since my both kids are in Christina M Eve, all the teachers, they care about the education, they always provide to them the best, all of them are responsible and careful and also they always provide the all information on time when you need it.

10/20/2009teacherI love working at CME because of the outstanding administrative support given to the teachers and the caring faculty who work together as a team to reach and teach our diversify population of students.
10/20/2009parentWe have been here 10 years. We founded the school with the idea that this school is FOR THE CHILDREN AND WE believe that children come first. We have the most dedicated teachers and staff. We work very well together and love and support each other as a family.
10/20/2009teacherCME has dedicated staff members and parents. We are all committed to providing the best education for our students. We truly are a family and it is felt from the moment you step on our school grounds. =o)
10/3/2009parentThe Christina M. Eve family is filled with the most caring dedicated professionals I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Children are always number one no matter what other myriad tasks are required of the faculty and staff. The teachers work many extra hours, for which they are not financially remunerated, in order to offer the best education conceivable for our students. We have been an A+ school since our inception and we strive to raise the standard every school year. Christina M. Eve personifies the joy of learning and enriching students' lives for the betterment of all.
7/23/2009parentmy daughter a 2nd grader just transferred to CME and she got the Gator of the Month and was in the Principal honor roll this semester. Her homeroom teacher was her main Mentor! Kudos to her and CME!

12/3/2008parentI have two daughters at CME. I have been very happy so far. My daughter had Ms. Sosa and Ms. Figueras, both excellent teachers. My other daughter was in VPK with Ms. Arratia, again an excellent teacher. I have also met several times the principle, Mr. Diaz, who I think runs a great school.

5/8/2008parentI have two daughters in Christina M. Eve. in 1st grade and VPK. So far I have found the teachers and adminstration does a great job. I think the principle Mr. Diaz maintains a well-organized and orderly school, and he promotes good behavior and academic achievement through many programs. The teachers have been very good; especially Ms. Sosa.
5/7/2008parentThis school has changed my outlook on public school. The teachers are AMAZING. I have three kids and they range in age so I can objectively say that ALL the teachers are awsome, from Mr Aulow, Mr Lopez, Mrs D Rodriguez. Ms Arratia. I love the school. My daughter graduated in 2006, my son graduates in 2008 and I have my daughter in the VPK program. Kudos to all from the principal Mr Diaz, staff, teachers and after school care, keep up the GREAT work.
4/9/2008parentIt's starts with the Principal. Mr. Diaz is an example for all schools. Love the school.
12/16/2007parentAn outstanding education is what my daughter and son got from CME. I'd like to mention some of those who made the greatest of impact. In the earlier years, we had the incredible pleasure to have Mrs. Haguel and Mrs. Trincado. What an amazing group og Kg teachers. Then we moved on to first grade where we had the distinctive pleasure that both of our children were under an educator who totally outdid herself and it was evident in her student's work and motivation to read and write, this honorable teacher is Ms. Roque. She devoted her time both for her students and parents. In second grade, my children had Mrs. Pujol and later Ms, Mayo, and Ms. Rodriguez. It was an incredible experience and one which has helped mold my children to be successful in everything they do. Thank you CME...2 very proud parents
11/27/2007parentMy daughter just left c.m.e she is in the 6th grade but wow that school was the coolest best school ever she is advanced and ahead of everyone in her class ...go cary! =)
6/26/2007parentMy son just started CME last year in third grade. I only have wonderful things to say about this marvelous school. His teachers in the third grade were fantastic, he was exposed to so much that I feel it was a blessing to us to put him in this school. I look forward to seeing my son graduate from this extraordinary school. The administration is great and the teachers out of this world excellent. I like to thank Ms Isabel Alvarez for teaching him so many essential concepts and Ms Grandio for making Math so fun for him. Thank you all you are the best.
10/20/2005teacherOur son attended CME for 4 years. We are extremely happy with the school. The administration was responsive and proactive and the teachers were excellent.
7/20/2005parentMy children have attended this school for 3 years. The teachers they have had have been excellent! They treat the children as individuals concerned with their learning as well as their social skills. The school encourages parent participation both in and out of the classrooms. This is an excellent elementary school!
3/28/2005parentThis school is very good. I feel the academic levels is good, and the reading programs are execellent. The teachers are very well prepared and look always foward to the best of the children. In my experience with kindergarten, first and second grade, I consider this school one of the best.
3/27/2005parentmy son has been in this school since it opened. it is a great school , the teachers are very willing to help your child with everything. it is in a great neighborhood. many parents, such as myself volunteer time. there are many in- school activities, not too many after school activities, though. in addition to the main curricculum, they teach spanish , art, music, physical education and have many wonderful gifted programs. the school counselor is fantastic! the staff is courteous and the pta moms & dads are extremely involved. my son's class is the first school to graduate since the school opened six years ago! we are very proud to come from an 'A' rated school!
10/11/2004parentThis is my daughter's first year in Pre-K and I can honestly say the staff there is incredible. They treat our children like their own, which is not easy to find. I can go to work and feel safe and at ease knowing she is in good caring and loving hands. Thanks to all! In this hard world we need good volunteers/teachers to take care our children.
6/5/2004parentOutstanding community and great school!
4/13/2004parentAlthough an 'A' school, Christina Eve Elementary has been a big disappointment with regard to teacher/parent communciation in general and their ESE program. The admin staff and teachers need to change their negative attitude and improve their efforts about teacher/parent conferences and making themself more available for phone calls or email. For working parents, effective communication is a must to ensure their child is being serviced academically and socially in the classroom and at home. With regards to the homework, upper level work is being forced on these children prematurely, and we the parents are being held accountable every night to ensure the homework and reading is completed and signed or a zero will be assigned, yet teachers do not make themselves readily available to the parents for consultation. Teachers also need to be educated on ESE laws regarding mainstreaming and accomodations. Sign me a very frustrated parent!
3/3/2004parentBeing a working mother of kindergarten student I was a little reluctant as to the atmosphere and education was to receive. I am here to tell that there has been nothing but great atmosphere at CME. From the parent-teacher involvment to the afterschool program. Everyone is very involved at this school including parents, teachers, student and afterschool staff. I applaud the leadership that CME demonstrates day in and day out.
9/9/2003parentSince my daughter started at CME in the 3rd grade her enthusiam and wanting to learn has improved greatly. The teachers all work together at all grade levels to help the kids, making it a family. That is why the school is highly rated.
8/31/2003parentMy 2 kids 1st and 3 grade love CME elementary and they've been there since kindergarten. It has an excellent gifted teacher. Ms. Pupo is the greatest! And it has a great PTA team
8/10/2003parentThe school is fairly new and has already made a name for themselves with such high test scores. My daughter loves it and the PTA is so helpful. It is a wonderful school thanks to Ms. Pupo, the teachers and the staff.
