| 4/27/2010 | parent | NSMS is a great school. It has very dedicated teachers educating students and using extra-curriculum activities to develop students inbuilt talents. The principal shows a high commitment to the students and teachers, and has an open door policy for all. It's refreshing to see him cheering for his students during meets, tournaments and school games, as well as attending choir or band performances. Despite the large number of students in this school, the principal, teachers and staff have made my daughter feel safe and at home. Thank you for mentoring, guiding, inspiring and carving a brighter future for our students. |

| 7/6/2005 | teacher | NSMS is a pretty good school. From a teacher's point of view, I don't like how the leadership focuses way too much on TAKS...but all schools do that. Our extracurriculars are great...especially band, choir, and LOTC. The yearbook staff has been state-recognized and has won several awards for their journalism. Discipline is handled well and the facility overall is good. The custodial staff works very hard. I'm happy there. |

| 4/16/2005 | parent | My son attends this school and I am not too sure about it yet. I attended north shore middle when i was a kid and it seems to have just got more crowded. I am a concerned parent who makes sure to check on my child often and all of the students there dress in the dress code but have their pants pulled down about half way down on their butt and are not told to pull them up. Another thing that bothers me is the TAKS test these kids have to take. How are they suppose to learn the basic stuff like we did when all they have time to teach is TAKS. come on people lets go back to the old school ways. |
