Four Seasons, some longer than others..

When I first moved here 20 years ago I was overjoyed to finally be somewhere that had blue skies more often than not. In the last few years this has been less true. The cold has gotten colder, the snow more frequent and in bursts rather than scattered throughout the winter months, and Spring seems to start a month later, with April showers now happening in May, and April often still filled with snow. The summers are hot, and humid, not always cooling down in the evening. Fall may make up for it all: crisp air still warm enough through late September to enjoy evenings outdoors, and colors more spectacular than anywhere I've seen just a short drive away.
