It seems that everything here is all about politics. The police get paid double what a construction worker would make for being a flagperson. The snowplow drivers get paid to waste time and not do much work. The state complains about its budget and insists on raising taxes on everything, but won't do anything, such as fixing the problems I said, to help the budget.
