I never needed a car

I've lived in Boston for 4 years, going to school in the heart of the city. Transporation has been great. Usually great. It's very easy to get around the city via the T and even better when you figure out the bus systems. I never needed a car. Grocery store was up the street, I could get to any one of my jobs within a half hour by T in rush hour. Then I made the decision to move out of the city to save a little on rent. Boy was that a mistake. Takes me an hour and 15 minutes to get to work, and I have to make 4 transfers. Yes thats 5 different vehichles of transportation to get me to where I need to go. Boston is a fantastic city to move around. Once you're actually here.
