I live in one of the few States that folks will actually greet strangers on the street like they are old friends. I have been to other States and even lived in some out West and when I spoke to someone who I didn't know, out there, they looked at me like I was crazy and ran the other way. I was born and raised in North Carolina, and was taught as a child to always give the benefit of the doubt, and to be nice to stangers. After all thats just the way to make friends. This is the friendliest state I have ever seen. Just come here and get broke down or have car trouble...lol, once I had guys almost fighting over who was going to assist me.
