Planning to relocate

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if somebody can tell me what's the best city to live in NC, especially for raise childrens, quality of live, salary,employment,crime rate etc. We are U.S. citizens and a hispanic familiy, I'm a small engine tech and my wife is a bologist, i'm open to comments from other states, just looking for the best options.
