Try eating at the chinese buffets here and you'll see Hispanics in t-shirts or tank tops, and Nigerians that talk loud. I think its a low income area and the people kind of trash the place out because they think they are in a dusty Mexican town or 3rd world country. Go look and smell the parking lots around a Ross or Marshalls . And the blockbusters with undisciplined children are common. A lot of the people are asleep at the wheel and care only about themselves and no one else on the road. I've seen people stop cars in the middle of major streets to drop off or pick up. I don't go out at night here on foot. Its too poor-pedestrian, and yes there's bums on every corner.
Places where people are poor are often plagued with poor, care-not behavior. Try moving to Sugarland or further out where people are richer. The apartments here are really "American Read More

Single Women Beware - 10/5/2008
The men in Houston are Neanderthals!! Losers, Users, and Abusers. Either rednecks or culturally inept and think a great date is dinner Denny's then go home and watch a video. Where are all the single men of color in the city of Houston? Are they kind, respectful, gentle, non-abusive, don't care about a woman's financial business. I am not looking to take anybody for a ride. I just want one kind man who will love me unconditionally in spite of me pouting and just a wee little bit of, sometimes, a little girl with pigtails. Sometimes I get scared of the dark when I'm by myself. Someone who will care enough to check on me when I'm asleep and if there's a storm with lightening and thunder, which I'm afraid of and a make sure I have everything I need when I become ill with the flu or a bad cold and fever. I live in Clear Lake City which is within the city limit boundaries of the City of Houston. This is an excellent area to live in with many opportunities for recreation, cultural experiences, NASA, close to The Medical Center, just 30 minutes to Galveston or The Galleria area of Houston. Excellent access to freeways and toll roads makes traveling easy. There is a very wide selection of resturants serving the area. Enclosed Bay Brook Mall and many smaller strip centers are available for Read More
