The weather in Southern Ca is mild and sunny. One can drive to a beach, mountains, lake within a up to an hour away from home. One thing in CA is more accepting of other cultures and alternative lifestyles still deemed taboo ; gays, interracial couples. We're free to be ourselves.

Fast becoming a third-world, socialist paradise. Illegals have more rights than the native-born U.S. citizens. Left-wing Democrats control both houses of the legislature, and all major statewide elective offices. Governor (Moonbeam) Jerry Brown is still stuck in the 1970's, knowing only how to increase taxes and the size of government. Woe to you if you're White and/or conservative. Since the economy is down this what you can expect to make even with a Bachelors in Business Administration, and a work experience that starts late of 2004 till 2012 in customer service and accounting. I created an estimate on how much it really takes to live in this state. I live in a small town so you would think it would be cheaper nope no such thing in California.
If you make $8.00hr and are lucky to get 40hrs a week you would make $14360 gross pay each year if you are single and have no children. Rent on average is $650 a month that would be $7800 a year. Plus a phone if you can afford one $50 dollars a month that is $600 a year. Food on average based on what welfare will give is $200 a month, that is $2400 a year.
